SUPPORT THE MEDICAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE
1,574 Ukrainian medical facilities have been damaged or destroyed. The existing state program can provide prosthetics for only about 2,000 patients annually. Confidential data estimates that around 50,000 individuals have amputations in Ukraine. Experts foresee an increase of 10,000 amputees per year if the war conditions continue. More than 30% of Ukraine’s territory is mined: over 174,000 sq. km. That’s over four times the size of The Netherlands.
The Ukrainian medical system will not make it without foreign support. Therefore NL4UA arranges:
Medical supply to Ukrainian hospitals *
Medical aid to the front line
Medical evacuations of wounded military and civilians from Ukraine to The Netherlands
Medical evacuations of oncology patients from Ukraine to The Netherlands
Support of Ukrainian patients in The Netherlands
*We procure both new and used medical goods and accept in-kind donations.
If you want to support our mission, you can:
donate on-line: nl4ua.org/donate
donate medical supply (equipment, consumables, furniture etc.)
help our patients with accommodation in The Netherlands (any options will work)
connect us with Dutch doctors and clinics
become a Guardian Angel (buddy) for our patients
help our patients with transportation/translation/treats
NL4UA created a community of buddies, who support Ukrainian patients during their treatment in The Netherlands. We call them Guardian Angels :-).

Why you can trust us
We are a registered Dutch ANBI foundation, with strict financial monitoring, tax compliance and negligible overhead costs. Our board consists of well-known Dutch entrepreneurs and we have a passionate group of around 15 mostly female, mostly Ukrainian volunteers, many of whom fled the Ukrainian war zone to the Netherlands, supporting our mission from our Amsterdam office 6 days a week.
For medical evacuations, we collaborate with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the Ukrainian side and directly with Dutch hospitals on the Dutch side.
When supporting Ukrainian hospitals, we collect requests directly from Ukrainian medical institutions and deliver goods straight to the end-users, ensuring their designated use.
